Next CorkBoard In-House Wine Tasting This Friday
Rick Collett of Jackson's own wine importer, Peerless Wine Selections, has recently been to Italy and has brought back some wonderful new wines from our favorite type of producer; small, family-operated, independent wineries. We have been able to put together special pricing on the 5 wines we will be tasting, and apply that same tasting discount to all of the other wines from this new Italian collection. This will be an open tasting on Friday, February 10th that you can drop in for at any time between 10am and 6pm, and is free of charge. Rick will be on hand from 4pm to 6pm to answer your questions about these producers. No reservation is required.

We're going BYOG for our in-house tastings
We hate plastic cups as much as anyone. We hate washing glasses almost as much. You may not be aware that the glass you use has a very noticable impact on your wine experience. We'll continue to have our free plastic tasting cups available at our events, but as an alternative, you are free to liberate your favorite Waterford from mom's china cabinet and bring it to any of our tastings, or now you can purchase an outstanding light weight Ravenscroft titanium crystal 22oz Bordeaux wine glass at the tasting for a special price of just $7. Buy a new one at each tasting or keep your glass in a shoebox in your trunk so you can bring it back with you for each subsequent tasting. Limit 1 glass per attendee per tasting. Once you use this glass, you will never want to use anything else. |

Valentine's Day try a sip of Tintero Moscato di Asti on us
What's not to like about Moscato di Asti. Light, refreshing, and tantalizingly sweet, it is a favorite of many, and a guilty pleasure for the rest of us. (whether we will admit it or not) Detractors dismiss this as not being "serious wine", but since when does wine have to be "serious"? Drop in any time between 10am and 6pm on Tuesday, February 14th for a free sample.

Sixpack #20 is now available
The folks at Yvon Mau are not grape-growers or winemakers. They’re not even what the French call nègociants, who buy grapes and wine that they put out under their own name. These “Bordeaux discoverers” are true brokers. They find wine from Chateaux all over Bordeaux and southern France and put together the export and distribution deals. We've put together a special selection 2 whites and 4 reds from this collection.
...as an added bonus, bring in your empty bag and fill it with 6 of your favorite wines and receive a "renewable" earth friendly discount
