Where And When Was This Taken?
I know, this has nothing to do with beer and wine but I couldn't resist putting Cork 'n Cap's patrons to the test.  This picture was recently found in a pile of rubble that was otherwise destined for a 20 yard roll-off.
Who among you can tell us where this picture was taken? Your only clue is that it is from somewhere in Jackson County.  Bonus points if you can also tell us the year the picture was taken.  Triple bonus points if you are in the picture.
Our Latest $99 Wooden Crate Special
There is no mistaking this for anything else but traditional Bordeaux red.  The French call it "Terroir".  If you were to blend 60% Merlot with 40% Cabernet Sauvignon grown anywhere else on the planet it will not be the same. The moderate temperatures of 2015 gave this wine a nicely balanced structure and relatively low alcohol by today's standards at just 12.5%.   That is what makes Chateau L' Eglise Saget such a value at $9.99 a bottle or $99 for a case of 12 in its very own versatile wooden crate.

Wine Club Sixpack #70
Is Now Available
Our latest grab-and-go collection of 2 white and 4 red wines are featured in our latest wine club sixpack.   As always, they come in our reusable, partitioned, eco-friendly six bottle bag and contains over $70 worth of wine for a special price of $49.99. When you bring the empty bag back in, you receive a club discount on six bottles or more of any of our regularly priced in-stock wines.  Our sixpack club has no rules and no obligations,  just a good value collection of specially selected wine. Stay tuned to our  Wine Sixpack Club Page for more details on this and our future sixpacks once they are released.
Wine Special Of The Month:
Woodwork Chardonnay
It seems that oaked Chardonnay has become an endangered species and with good reason; some went over the top, often to mask mediocre wine.  Looks like the producers of this wine had a message to convey when they picked the name of this Chardonnay, but it isn't crazy oaky.   Someone on the Internet said that this central coast chardonnay "has the perfect balance of rich tropical fruit and fragrant oak". "The nose opens with lovely pineapple, caramel and vanilla aromas. In the mouth, ripe apple and pear flavors develop, accompanied by shortbread and baking spices. The harmonious integration of fruit and spice unfolds with round, creamy texture and generous weight on the palate".  Some may recognize this wine from our wine club sixpack a few months back.  We have a few cases left over so we are offering it at a great sale price.  Regularly $14.99, On Sale: $8.99 per bottle or just $91.70 for an unmixed case of 12, while it lasts.

“Anyone who tries to make you believe that he knows all about wines is obviously a fake.”
