Makara Sauvignon Blanc, Marlbourough New Zealand    Marlborough is split into two distinct river valleys, each contributing stylistic differences to the wine. 85% of this Sauvignon Blanc is from the Wairau Valley, where the inland location results in a greater tropical fruit expression.  The remainder comes from the Awatere Valley, known for a distinctly crisp and herbaceous style with marked minerality. The wines from the two valleys were harvested and fermented separately, using selected yeast strains for Sauvignon Blanc to enhance varietal character.  This Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc shows lifted tropical notes of guava and stone fruit. The palate is crisp, fruity and fresh and finishes with a lively, citrus acidity. This classic New Zealand Sauvignon blanc is great with summer salads and fish dishes.

L’ Armangia Pratorotondo Chardonnay, Piemonte Italy   It's a fact that Chardonnay has been cultivated for centuries in our area – that's why at the beginning of my quest for the best wines to grow in my estate, I decided to create "Pratorotondo", which combines international elegance with its own peculiar "Piedmontese" touch, and a terroir nose and palate. The grapes are estate grown, some planted as far back as 1978. Vinification takes place partly in oak and partly in stainless steel vats, and it then sits on the lees for 4-5 months before Malolactic fermentation is brought to completion. Pale straw in color, with flowery scents, along with banana, honey, vanilla and breadcrust hues. Because of its versatility, it provides an ideal accompaniment for fish, shellfish, white meat, grilled meat, flans and vegetables.

Oxford Landing Estates Merlot, South Australia   Magenta colored with purple hues. Oxford Landing Estates Merlot has a nose of blueberry, plum and red currants with subtle cedar oak and spices. The medium bodied palate starts with vibrant flavors of plums and red berries, although tightly structured; the finish is rich and generous with persistent fruit flavors. Soft, velvety tannins are a feature of the supple palate.

Castle Rock Central Coast Pinot Noir, California     Bright clear medium burnt sienna color. Bright, fruity, toasty smoky aromas of pressed linen, toasted yeast, oak embers, and clay with a lively, dry medium-full body and a peppery, complex, medium-length finish with fruit chewy firm tannins and light oak. Beverage Testing Institute gives this wine 88 points “Best Buy”.  This wine pairs nicely with baked ham, or grilled salmon.

Domaine de la Bastide Cotes du Rhone, Visan France    Vincent Boyer’s family resides in a fortified farmhouse built by Templar knights in the middle ages, surrounded by ancient vines and fig trees.  The Bastide property became Benedictine, then a Dominican monastery. Vincent took over his father’s winemaking legacy with his wife Stephanie, also a trained oenologist, carry forward the estate with energy, innovation and focus. Vincent expects the farm fully organic in the near future.

Fontana Candida Roma Rosso      This wine is a light, dry, and fruity blend of Cesanese, Syrah, and Montepulciano. Smooth tannins and pretty flavors of cherry & red berries make this a great warm-weather red. Fruit notes combine with the oak to create a long-lasting, evolving explosion of flavors typical of exceptionally fine wines. This special wine is an excellent accompaniment to game dishes, braised meats and stews.
