On Saturday November 2nd, thousands of people gathered at Learn to Homebrew Day sites worldwide to brew beer and learn about the hobby of homebrewing. We brewed what we are calling a “kitchen sink” Imperial Stout to ultimately age in our recently emptied 5 gallon whisky barrel. In 1999, Learn To Homebrew Day was established by the American Homebrewers Association to promote the most rewarding, and delicious activity of all time — homebrewing.
